Good Vibrations?

I remember reading the biography of Lester Levenson, founder of the Sedona Method...

In it, he spoke of how he could walk up to machines that were previously faulty -- and view them in his mind as whole and perfect.

And suddenly the machines would start to work.

In fact, he'd be reduced to making up lies to explain the phenomenon to standers-by.

.... "Oh, it was just a screw that needed tightenin'!"

So, can how we think REALLY have an effect on machinery?

Back in the 60's, Lester's "evidence" was purely anecdotal.

But according to a recent news article in the Canadian Press, scientists have now found proof that our thoughts and "vibes" can LITERALLY change how machines operate.

The research for the project has lasted a fantastical 26 years. And the chances of the collected results being pure coincidence are apparently "1 in a trillion".

I'm not saying it's proof positive.

But it's something to think about.

What sort of vibes are YOU giving out?

And can your PC -- or even your toaster -- pick up on them?

Could you perhaps start viewing everything as WHOLE and PERFECT?

Try it out. You just never know.

It might mean an end to burnt toast.

(PS. Blogger.com and my entire browser crashed during the writing of this post. So it appears my own vibes need a little TLC.)

  • Excellent point, we should all try to use positive thinking more and just see how it really impacts on the world around us. Matthew

  • Hi Karl. Good topic. I certainly feel the reverse to be true: if I am feeling 'off' psychologically, it seems that my machines tend to go wrong and I'm more likely to have accidents. The trick is in making this work in a positive way.

I keep meaning to read up on Quantum Healing. I think maybe this is what it's all about.

  • It's so true. I've discovered over the years, our cars and computers are especially 'connected' to us.
In the quantum world's reflection they seem to represent our body-the 'vehicle' of our spirit- and our brain- the computer for mind to process through.

I've had cars simply STOP- the engine go dead with no apparent reason- just as a truck ran a red light doing fifty. (I would have been killed instantly had I been where I was destined to be in the intersection.) And another time as a large 5 point stag deer leapt in front of me, grazing the car antennae rather than smashing through my front window!

But the coolest was this... I had found myself in a mind-pressing yes/no, should I?/shouldn't I? dilema for about three days.
I woke up one night at 1:32am... (1:32- even THAT was mystical and meaningful but quite another story.) As I walked down the hallway to retrieve a glass of cold water; I passed my open office, computer right there. All of a sudden the familiar 'booting-up' noises began as the dim light from the hard drive 'on' button self-tripped. The hair stood up on my arms, and my head felt all this 'electrical' energy... I slowly backed up my steps and looked... I already KNEW this was going to be an unexplainable moment; sure enough in the middle of the still black monitor screen were two capitol letters in white-
    "NO."

Well- The 'no' choice was the correct decision. And I've had a fantastical relationship with all of my computers since. :)
