Be Psychic
I'm a big multi-tasker.
And a few moments ago, I was doing my usual PC work...
Two dozen windows open. Quickly flicking between browsers until my 8MB broadband connection catches up. Searching. Replying. Downloading.
Then suddenly I thought of an individual whom I'd meant to contact some days ago.
All the information popped right into my mind. From nowhere.
Then my phone rang... and I knew it was Steve.
I knew. Without a shadow of a doubt.
"Of course," as Miss Marple once said, "I don't have any of what you might call 'proof.' But I knew none the less."
It happens to me with relative frequency.
Some years ago, driving with a group from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, a very specific song suddenly clunked into my head out of nowhere.
No idea why or where it came from... and it was mid-song too, which didn't even make sense.
Two seconds later, my friend switch on the radio... and that exact song was playing, and was at the exact same position.
Maybe I was just a little more open to the universal consciousness that envelops everything.
Or maybe this broken clock still shows the right time twice a day.
Either way, psychic phenomenon is interesting.
