The Lessons of Life
I am a fond believer that life teaches the best lessons.
School gives us a good grounding in the basics.
College and university give us a chance to specialize in the subjects that we choose to study.
But life ... life provides us with the ultimate experience, where theory is put into practice.
No matter what your age, every day offers a chance to learn something new.
The trick is to realize when a lesson is presenting itself.
And the biggest lesson opportunities come when we 'fail' or when something goes wrong.
When you experience a multitude of mistakes or 'failures', life is richer for it.
The experience you gain is far more interesting.
There is a saying that's worth remembering when you experience a failure:
'Lose - but don't lose the lesson'.
You see, on this journey, success begins when we realize that life is about learning and growing.
And we can only learn when we are willing to look at our experiences – in particular our failures – because there resides many a clue for our success!
So, seek out those lessons.
Ask yourself: 'What can I learn from this?'
And see what materializes!
