The Law of Attraction
Today, a quick video post explaining the "truth" behind the Law of Attraction.
What is it really? How does it work? How can you truly master it - without all the unnecessary frills and trappings?

Also...
After yesterday's blog post - 'Release Your Religion' - I received a large amount of negative feedback by e-mail. Most messages told me I was scheduled to burn in hell.
It seems that the title of this particular blog post aroused strong feelings in a subsection of readers - although most appeared not to have actually read the article.
To clarify: this wasn't an anti-religious blog post, but rather "religion" here was a euphemism for ANY limiting thoughts which may be holding us back.
It may include religion, certainly, but as the article clearly pointed out, that wasn't its core focus. A more succinct word for limiting beliefs escaped me while composing the post.
Right, that's all. See you again soon! x

Hi Karl,
Great Post! Thank you for giving me food for thought today. I am a mum at home trying to set up a business online around my 2 year old and your video just bolted me to change my thinking.
Lately my little one has been acting up and I just released it is all about her getting my attention whether it be positive or negative behaviour.
The law of attraction can work 2 fold just like Karma. What you put out you get back.
I am now off to spend some cuddle time with my little one to reinforce some positive intention
Kind Regards
Jacinta :D
P.S I found you through 30DC and your videos were an excellent edition to this years challenge!

lol oh karl dont worry about it, your going to get a large segment of society fly at you when you mention religion and walking away from it. I understood what you meant. There is a large portion of people who are very fundamental and their intial reaction is anger and to revolt against anyone who would even attempt to differ concerning what they believe is absolute truth. You wait till my site gets going, im having someone design right now.. im sure there are going to be a few daggers thrown at me - hopefully just rubber ones though ;)
Keep it real

Hi Karl
Thanx for an awesome piece. I really enjoy it and embrace the truth yet again. So much good has happened since I have started to follow my heart regarding my life, and I have to say losing my religion has been one of the best things I could ever have done, coz religion now has been replaced by love, joy, peace, laughter, LIFE!
You truly are a great inspiration! Thanx so much for that!

Karl, thank you for yesterdays post. It was one of the best articles you have written. The force of the response (even negative) shows you touched a nerve, that nerve being truth! of course people will defend their faith because it is all that most have to keep them going, and thinking outside the religion box will be very difficult for many (refer to 'comfort zone')But for me, the 'rules and regs' of any religion are simple man made for the convenience of man yet i know and feel the awsome energies of this universe, whatever you want to label it.
Thank you again for the brilliant article,
Annie x

Sometimes when you write about such profound and controversial subjects, I forget how old you are! How do you get such an insight in such early age? I am very impressed.
I have meant to ask you, if you travel to US and come to California, could you consider staying with me and my family for a few days? I live in Los Angeles with my family, my husband and my 12 years old daughter. We would love to have you here. I work in New York, but live here in Los Angels. I am an attorney and my clients are in NY and I travel quit often there. It is really nice here in LA most of the times and I show you around.
Take care and thank you for your insightful emails.

Karl,
Obviously, I'm in the minority here, as I loved yesterday's blog, 'Release your Religion' and found it a thoughtful, rational perspective on what is admittedly a hot-button issue for many.
Isn't it fascinating how easily we become threatened when asked to look at our irrational beliefs in the clear light of reason...thanks for providing me with new food for thought on the topic!

Hi Karl
I just wanted to let you know I look forward to, and learn so much, from your blogs so I was surprised, and saddened, to hear that you got some negative feedback!
Even if someone doesn't like, or agree with, what you're saying there are better ways of expressing oneself.
How ignorant to lash out, esp without reading the whole article.
I guess you can't please all of the people all of the time but I, for one, am delighted with my subscription to your blog and value it enormously.
Keep up the good work.

I believe your article was right on.
I think that any practice that restricts our lives and calls into question our loving ways, should be looked at closely. I also think that anyone who is so frightened at people taking a close look at their religion, what every it happens to be, should take another look at who they are, and what they believe. I believe any religion: a set of strongly-held beliefs, values, and attitudes that somebody lives by, that takes one away from what they know in their heart to be true is a thing that can ultimately be bad for them.
When people hold on to external devices so tightly sometimes, it takes them in the opposite direction they are trying to get to.
Thank you for taking on such a touchy subject and explaining it so well. I thought that it was well done and so on the mark that I could not tear myself away from it until I had read the whole article.
Best wishes,
David Hall
